  The pony is legal and ridable but after a week or so of messing with the carb, asking and searching forums for advice I decided to give up and do what Xlint performance Guru told me to do. 

Buy a 36mm Mikuni.

Not for aircraft use.

My students know I like to read about brain function. . . one of them has a parent that works at a publisher so she hooked this up for me.  I read the first chapter and am already hooked.

I usually use a gun and just get really oily but this time the XL350 engine is too much.

Static timing is more accurate anyway
