Marion County swap 2012

Mostly harley shmarley.
Had some gems for all though.
Switches, signs, tools, an old guy with stories of hopping trains and stealing fire extinguishers.
Bert and his boys, Grant, Gunnar, Ben, and the normal indy see-everywhere's.
Even saw Ichiro who got a nice deal on a springer set up.
Z and I went and I dropped and grabbed my Insight from the glass repair shop.

Can't miss it......

Saw this on the way out.
69 305 Honda Dream.
Rusted in all the wrong places.
After market front junk and hard saddlebags.
Says he rides it all the time (with a license plate from 1979...right....)
Could be yours today for 2500.

Truing stand please.

I would like to true some rims please.
No cheap crap though.
Contact me.

Break in for why?

   Ghettotax man:
    Good morning, sir.
    Your window is shattered.
Hutch with the save on the door taping while I was at work
 Ghettotax man continues:
    But don't worry, I didn't steal anything.
    It was just for kicks.
          Okay, okay....i understand.
We should be all settled up right?
My ghetto taxes are all paid up for a while right?

Ghettotax man:
    Yes, yes they are.
Between this and your catalytic converter from your Toyota last month,
you should be all paid up for   a few years........

Clearance Clearance Clearance

The chain, frame, tire and brake rod are going to have to be very friendly on this bike....
I hope the tires I ordered get here soon and are not very wide....

Chain and imaginary Kenda big block tires....
(I can offset the rear sprocket about one centimeter from where it is now...but much more and the brake rod won't function.)

Chain and lower frame.
(I can make a smaller rear sprocket.....this will get better when the jackshaft gets adjusted)

Chain and engine.
(I can adjust the jackshaft out)

The clearance between the frame and chain gets better the farther back the rim is.
I guess I should also keep in mind weight on the plunger frame will bring the chain up a bit too.

The best welding goggles ever!

Still the best thing out

Honda CG 125

I saw this parked on the opposite side of the street from Ace Cafe.
It was more interesting than the triumphs inside...
I just don't know much about them..

Honda CG 125.
If we all had little honda's this would be the one that Z would have.

Ace Cafe, London

While in London, I took a short bus ride and then skated out to Ace Cafe.

Triumph fever.  This is a thunderbird I guess.

I have no idea......

Kind of want to make a front fairing like this....

Saturdays with my brother.

Went to visit my Big bro and family this morning.

I am not going to pretend I did that much.
He set up the lathe and I asked a bunch of questions then I worked some levers for a couple hours.

 Calibrate and center

Cut away.

Flip and score.

Punch and drill

This is what Ryan did while I spend hours on the lathe.

London, England

My mother and I went to some famous places on our first day.
I was just happy to spend time with my mom.

Got off here.

Walked through Hyde park

Neat buildings but too many stupid people everywhere.
I think this was the royal know with the guards and stuff.

Westminster Abbey.
This building is beautiful.

The details....

Big Ben.

The London eye.
With an eye booger of a line to ride it for about a mile.
Not worth it for me.

  I have a goal.
It is to de-redneck my garage and backyard area by summer.

Step one:  Stone over muddy area.
This was after I cleared out all the trash from the alley that just seems to collect in this little corner...

1 Yard of stone.

Over the fence view.

The pony gettin' worked.

Lilac bush is finally flowering after 2 years in the ground.
Uniondale-Pat Scott-Babysitting

What!  I hear something!

Pony mock up (just for fun)

Hub with the rivets drilled out to 8mm and sprocket popped off.

Stock sprocket.

This is an old XL350 aluminum race sprocket.
I need to drill some new holes and have the inside milled out.
