2-22-2 Wheels.

White wall Saturd-day.

Picture me rollin'.

New....uni air filter, handlebars, internal throttle slider, used nos exhaust.
More torque in higher gears, faster off the start.
 Time to clean.
Ugh.
 Release.
 Repent.
Repeat.

 Scrutinizer.
 Non-motor white wall.
 Where did daddy go?
 Needs a little more love.
 Snobby smell of spring.
Summer.....Time......to start rebuilding this bike.

Slowly but Slowly.

New chain for the rusty tank bicycle.
Mozzy is not amused.
Finally got some wheels in my size!
Let's see if they flat-spot.
Tinker Spring is coming soon.
I had it all together...then did it again.
Those perches have to go on first, dumby.
Rusty old bike is done-ish.
Still needs lubed in a few places but I want to ride!
White walls on white walls.

The Thailand Fiasco.

Just kidding..... but really though.

When you order from Thailand the following things always happen.

-You pay way too much for shipping
-You wait at least a month for your part
-Anything rubber, in my experience, doesn't last long
-Metal parts aren't as thick/sturdy

Some of the cut-outs for the internal wiring and internal throttle need cleaned up.
The bars overall seem really light......
 A little love from Japan
Thanks Yuto and Masako!

Gloss hell and bicycle blacking.

"He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist."

Expo purchase.
Why not, right?
The insight headlights just didn't shine like they used to..
 Until....!!
I guess?
I didn't really put that much effort into it... a 20 degree garage and an empty belly will do that to you.
 Wire wheel shine......
 ......vs metal gloss magic.
The picture doesn't do it justice.
I can see myself in the finish...
Getting the old tank bicycle ready for the weather we might get this week.
Forgot to get a chain.
Der.

Back has to match the front has to painted and sealed.
Don't judge me.

Indiana Motorcycle Expo 2014

I haven't been in a couple years.
Usually a bust....mostly new uninteresting $10,000 paint job bikes and leather jackets, patches, and helmets.
It was more of that this year but at least the Rockers Reunion guys were out this year.
It would be sick to see more individual builders get recognition.
Maybe a chopper area?
Cafe area?
Vintage bike area?
I guess that stuff is better suited for places like Midohio and Barber......
Maybe Indy just needs it's own MiddleIndiana show?
I will always love these Ducati singles...
A rare gem in a sea of over the top paint jobs.
This is more of what you should expect at the expo.....
I can respect the work put into these, it's just not my style.
 Fancy cycle bike.
Represent my hood! (?)

Rockers reunion was the sole vintage standout this year.
A ton of people stopped by to see what it was about.
 The pony.
I wonder what people think when they see this....
Think it will win best in show 2014?
#lastplace
Thanks to all Eric and Adam for hauling it around!
I would ride a CBR250R all day long!
I might have to test ride one of these in the spring....
Christina is the next Repsol model.

 Chrome dome.
That's right.
Extend that swingarm.
 Patches a plenty.
This old treadle machine was killing it.
 I want!
