Kazuki 125

My buddy Z is in Honduras right now and sent me a picture of this bike he spotted.
The engine looks kinda cool.
Kazuki kz125.
I wonder what year it is.....
Found the site.
These bikes are hilariously awesome!
Check this one out.

Moyou and a tank

Moyou and her new bed (and friend dinosaurs)

MR50 Tank came today in possibly the worst packaged box I have ever been sent from ebay.
In a plastic shopping bag, in a square box.
That was it.
Tank is so tiny. I would have to fill up every 40 miles.

Interesting cap.

Purple Daikon

Yeah, I know nobody cares.
Purple Daikon.
Making Thai green curry with it right now.
Purple Daikon.

House stuff

Door to the kitchen time.
Bought a repurposed stained glass window door in Bloomington last week.

Doesn't fit perfect due to the door being a bit less than normal width.
In the space above the door I plan to build a rice paper grate.

Ginza Pachinko Machine

I played pachinko once with my dad about 10 years ago right across the street from the JR Sugamo line station when my parents visited me for a week when I lived in Japan.  It was smelly, and loud.  My father bought him and I 500 yen (5 dollars) worth of pachinko balls.  I turned mine into about 80 dollars and cashed it in for random crap. . . .  I remember at one point telling the guy next to me that he could take over for me because I was over the smell....

Today I find this vintage machine at what is now my favorite antique store in Bloomington.

 Ultra classy ash tray

Showa 52 means 1977 I think.

Masaru is the man

I stumbled upon these tonight as I was avoiding Shubiki and his OPT files.....
I must apologize for my face being in too many of these.
I miss Masaru and I miss Japan.
The cut off age for the JET program is 35 right?........

CL250 parked outside of Nike park in Shibuya.  Nice.....

Just left MXMXM....bombing the hill under the train tracks going to get some ROLAN!

Yeah, another smith grind.....

Vegan Donuts in Tokyo.
Again, try to focus on the neat characters in the background of the post office or that guy with the hat.

Masaru hooking it up taking me to the Honda collection hall at the Motegi raceway...I owe you big.

Don't remember the name of this park but it was SOO hot.  I definitely had some skate hangover the next day.

Climbing wall next to the park.

Honda 1975 XL350

I bought this bike in St. Louis a few weekends ago but had other things to work on.
This weekend I decided I needed to at least start it.....
After a day of disappointment I finally decided to open up the points cover.....
Rusty points!
As you can tell by this picture, it was rusted shut basically.

This is the IV stand setup for...kind of hard to tell.

Old plastic tank for an IV bag and this run off the magneto.

Just happened to have new points and condenser laying around that fit this thing.
After I gapped the points, it started first kick and sounded good....
Now I just have to wait to see if Ardcore can make a jackshaft for me...
if not, this thing is getting cleaned up and tuned I will have one more bike to sell in the spring...

Garage update

"In and out of the garage all day and night!  When is this going to end..."

Bye Bye wood lift.  Hello more space.

These bins turned out better than I thought.
I have a ton left over, if anyone needs a couple, let me know.

Holga lens on my Nikon isn't near as good as a holga lens on a holga.
Maybe I just need more practice.
