CT90. I have wanted one of these since Midohio last year. Couldn't pass it up.....

I bought it from a guy that I bought two cb350's from last year for 200 dollars....with titles... One of which became the 350 build I have been working on for a minute.

I guess he does antiques so I ended up looking through some of his stuff! He is working on restoring a ca77 305 dream. Looks like my ca95 on steriods...same color and everything....

Luggage rack is taaaaaight. Exhaust chrome is nice too. Need a new chain. I am going to keep it as stock as possible for a bit. I hope to have it ready for the road by midohio this year! I think Moyou approves my purchase.
I also found these in his garage and ended up getting them both (old train lights) and he threw in the crotch-rocket-looking headlights below for free. I might use them, you never know.....

Needs new front tire for sure. . . . front brake? maybe..... Grips are going to change too.

Tank will get chrome side cover things and rubber knee pads like the CL. The seat is fine for now. I want to try to make on with less padding and a brown cover.
I need to make a good license plate holder and rework the wiring for the swithes and mount the tank different. I might put a MT bike speedo on this too. . . .

This is the first stage of "legal". I can ride it. Some stuff needs to be attached better. Front tire is sketchy. Still needs paint and cleaned and some of the wiring moved/redone but I can ride it down the street! As soon as the other engine is done and the CL is reworked this engine is coming out for a much needed rebuild too. My neighbors hate my bikes.........

Back to nature

The trees in my backyard have been beautiful lately.

Three P's: Plum, Peach, and Pear. I have big expectations for the plum this year......the peach killed it last year and the pear was my biggest tree when I planted them but almost died.....now it is getting bigger. I bet I won't get anything on it for at least another year or two.

Saturday

Cleaned an area to work, pulled the top off....

Everything looks good so far...nothing out of place....
Pistons and piston rings doing their job nicely....
Put it back together and guess what! Same problem. Why is it so hard to turn over and where the hell is my compression.....I am stupid. Second time I've had this apart...this time was easier but still....
Now it just sits on my work bench mocking me.......guess I'm going to have to pay somebody. They better agree to show me what I did wrong....or what is wrong....
This was the start of a 12 hour garage session on Saturday. I need to set a timer and stop after 6 so I can function the next day.

C110 tank, finally. . . .

These are small, skinny and kind of square. (like me I guess.....) I am not into the color though......need to take it to one of those places that takes all the rust off (and the paint) for 50 bucks....anybody know what i'm talking about?

I have used this "gas tank" so many times in the last 2 years. Even loaned it out to friends. . . . . .
Check out the seat with the battery on it. I am running this with a battery eliminator but I wanted to start it for the first time like this....... ALL GOOD?
This is tougher to kick over than my cl........bad rebuild? better compression? hard to hold handlebars and kick? Probably a little bit of everything. Gave up for today. . . . . got it to backfire! (sounded like an explosion. Just about made ben piss his pants.....)
